Data used by Mahjong Social

The game processes your chosen nickname, guest session identifier, room membership, game preferences, actions, scores and game state to run and restore the shared table. Room state is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. The server stores a hash of the guest session identifier. Normal browser play uses a Secure, HttpOnly cookie with a 30-day lifetime. Inside Google Meet™, a separate random credential stays in this tab's session storage and is sent only to the game's server. This keeps players in different Meet tabs separate, including different Google accounts in one browser profile. The game and side panel in one tab use the same seat. Refreshing that tab retains the credential; closing the tab or clearing its storage can lose access to your seat but does not delete stored room data.

Other room participants see your nickname, public actions, scores and the game information appropriate to their role. The server holds the complete game state; private hands are excluded from other players' normal views. Anyone you give a table invitation to may attempt to join, so keep it within your group.

The Meet integration shares the room invitation identifier to connect the activity. It does not capture or record your meeting audio or video and does not read Gmail, Drive documents or Calendar events. The game currently uses guest identities rather than linking game seats to Google accounts. Google handles its own sign-in, installation, meeting data and permissions under Google's privacy policy.

The developer maintains invited testers' email addresses in Google's tester settings. Email you send for support or opt-out is received by the developer through Gmail. Cloudflare and Google may process connection information, including IP addresses and operational logs, under their own service policies. The current game code does not add advertising or third-party marketing trackers.

Retention and requests

This prototype has no automatic room-data deletion schedule or self-service deletion interface. Room state may persist after a match or uninstall. Contact the developer with your room ID and nickname to request review, correction or deletion of test data; do not send session cookies, passwords or sensitive information. Identity and technical feasibility may need to be checked. You may uninstall the add-on and request removal from the tester list at any time using the support and opt-out guide.
